About Golladay Gardens Homestead
Meet the Golladay Family
Golladay Gardens Homestead was established in 2013 in the Union of Tyler & Jennifer Golladay on land that has been in the family for over 50 years, originally owned by Tyler’s maternal grandfather.
Tyler is technically a 3rd generation cattle farmer but has taken a while to get back to his grandfather’s roots and bring cows back into the picture. His passion & knowledge of engines (diesel & gas) has driven his career to where it is now. With Jennifer by his side as a stay-at-home mom/housewife/domestic goddess (she prefers the last term) he has been able to get back into the farming lifestyle.
Jen loves to garden and has a very green thumb with all things plants, flowers & veggies! She has a background in Veterinary Care but her love for animals started long before working with them. This, along with wanting hobbies to occupy some time while Tyler was out of town, led her to acquire an array of animals, gardens, and most recently bees!
Being a Domestic Goddess with an out-of-town husband and their daughter going back to public school has given Jen the opportunity to turn their lifestyle & hobbies into a small farm business directly from their farm in Wills Point, Texas.
Realizing the demand for all things natural, cutting out chemicals where possible and consuming/using things that are made with real ingredients, no preservatives, pesticides, etc. is a driving force for Jen. Although they are FAR from living solely off their land, it is a hope to one day be fully self-sustaining.
Golladay Gardens Homestead currently offers bread, specialty loaves of bread & muffins, occasionally delicious cookies, farm fresh eggs, seasonal vegetables & honey! All items are sold under Texas Cottage Laws, and Golladay Gardens Homestead holds a current Food Handlers License.
The Golladays hope to expand the farm in the near future, and add more wholesome products to share with you.
